With the recently-increased fees being charged for playing music over internet radio, Tim Westergren, the founder of popular Web radio start-up Pandora, has come out and said that Pandora may be forced to shutter the business. Westergren has effectively said that unless the royalty structure is significantly reworked that the VC funders for Pandora will pull their support and require that the business end.
This prediction will be judged at 100% if, on or prior to December 31st, 2008, Pandora officially announces that they will suspend or end providing internet radio service. A short-term temporary suspension (including, for example, a 1-day protest suspension) should not result in judgment. This prediction triggers on the official announcement, rather than the actual ending of service. An announcement in 2008 of a suspension of service that doesn't take effect until early 2009 will also be grounds for a 100% judgment.

Hrrrm. The Standard launching a similar prediction (http://www.thestandard.com/predictions/pandora-avoids-bankruptcy-quickly...) fairly well kills this suggestion.
