According to VGChartz.com, Sony has sold about 2M PS3 in the US in 2008 and as of August 10, a total sale of 5.5M since launch. The demand for the gaming console will continue to do so as we head into the holiday retail season.
The prediction is for Nintendo to break the 7M PS3 sold in the US by end of 2008. Betting will be closed on December 22, 2008. Judgement will be rendered at the earlier of the milestone being reached or in 1st week of January 2009.
